We were awarded a National Lottery Grant, Community First, Crime Reduction funding and sponsorship from Plymouth Community Homes and the Plymouth Creative School for a Community Gallery using empty shops and sites along Union Street.  Ideas Factory events worked with local people to generate ideas, images and art work to include.

New banners, covering empty shops and sites, promoting local businesses and much more - it all makes a difference and reminds us of Union Street's past and highlights the need to improve it's future.  Take a look at all the pictures here.

This is a joint effort with so much support from so many people including... Stonehouse Timebank, Friends of Wyndham Sq, Millfields Trust, Stonehouse Playspace Association, Devon Food Association, George House, Flameworks, Oasis Cafe, Plymouth College of Art, Plymouth Creative School, Plymouth City Council, Plymouth University, Arts Centre, Plymouth College, FotoNow, Plymouth & West Devon Record Office, Plymouth City Council, St Andrew’s Primary School, Transition Plymouth, Thursday Rag Rug Making Group, Shekinah Mission, Bain Foundation, Plymouth Community Homes and 51 Studio.
